Shillong, March 21: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma in his reply to the question asked by Dr Donkupar Roy on the overall budgetary saving in the state for the last three years, in the reply the chief minister said that for the year 2014-2015 it was Rs.5055.08 core. For the year 2015-2016 is Rs.2838.09 core and for the 206-2017, the budgetary saving will be known only by the closure of the financial year.
The Chief minister in his reply to the supplementary question, he said that every year government use to allocate funds to every department and this is base on anticipation and the allocation was made, but at the end of the year money did not come, like from the centrally sponsor scheme and even from the state plane.
The government would like to avoid late sanction, but sometime this cannot be done away with, there is always a shortage, and at the end of the year the amount is always less, in simple word surrender mean the state does not have money, the chief minister hope that this year the budgetary saving will come down.
