Shillong, September 25: The Meghalaya police arrested two person Smti. Lalrintluangi 40 years and Smti. Elizabeth Numami 41 years in connection with a case under Champhai Police station of Mizoram for alleged involvement for smuggling of suspected Yellow Cake, a raw form of Uranium weighing 1.5 kg. from Mawblei.
When the police arrested this two person,on their leading, a joint raid was conducted by Shillong Police and Champhai police from Mizoram at Mawblei area, Shillong and arrested one Ronald Phairembam 45 years who is suspected to be supplier of the suspected Yellow Cake.
