Shillong, August 02: The 27th Inter School & 9th Inter College Karate Tournament 2019 started today the 1st August, 2019 at Laban Sports Club Indoor Hall, Laban, Shillong. Altogether 428 participants from 61 Schools and 9 Colleges participated.
Mr P.N. Syiem, Chairman KHADC and MDC Mawkhar – Pynthorumkhrah Constituency grace the Opening as Chief Guest and also Mr John F. Kharshiing, Working President, MSOA attended.
The closing ceremony will be on the 3rd August, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. and Shri Alan Niangti, Senior Karatekas of the State will attend the ceremony as Chief Guest.
