Shillong, August 19: The F.K.J.G.P Mawlai Circle, concern over the rise of drug users in the state on 26 August will be organizing a “PEACE RALLY MARCH FOR THE ERADICATION AND AWARENESS ON DRUGS ABUSE”.
“The the addiction to drugs has put the future of the youths of the state at risk and the society include,” President FKJGP Mawlai Circle Marbud Dkhar said.
He appealed to all like minded people to work together with the federation to uproot and eradicate drugs from the society and the state as a whole.
The Peace march rally will kick start from Mawlai Nongkwar Basic School from 12PM onwards and later conclude at Madan Heh stadium Phudmuri followed by a Public Meeting.
Informing that various schools and colleges in Mawlai will be taking part in the program, he appealed to all the general public, teachers, doctors youth organizations etc, to attend the peace march.
Resource Person from KRIPA, Meghalaya Aids Society, Sanker, VHAM and from the Police Department will be present in the rally organized by the FKJGP.
