Shillong, April 03: Additional Chief Secretary inchrge disaster management Mr PW Ingty said that the government has received information from the entire district regarding the natural calamities that occurred in all the District of the state.
In this natural calamities many houses where damage due to storms, but so far there is no report of any casualty. The Government has already place Rs.20 lakh with all the Deputy Commissioners of all Districts for immediate relief.
The worst affected District is the South West Khasi Hills District, Ri Bhoi District and the North Garo Hills District; in this entire district hundreds of houses were damaged. The respective deputy commissioner of respective district is doing their assessment on the damages caused by the natural calamities.
