Tura, September 17: The Garo Student’s Union of the Eastern Zone, inform the Deputy Commissioner East Garo Hills District, that on the 20th and 21th of this month they will demonstrate in front of the office of the District Sport Officer , to protest against the officer who is headed the office.
The GSU alleged that Smti Jijiline N Sangma the DSO of East Garo Hills is not responsive to the need of the public and from the GSU had already submitted a memorandum requesting the Deputy Commissioner to remove the officer from the post that she is holding.
The GSU said that as per their memorandum submitted on the 7th of this month has lapse, but the office of the Deputy Commissioner has not comply to their demand, the student’s union has no way out but to protest in the office of the DSO along with poster campaign.
In the information sent by the GSU to the Deputy Commissioner sign by Tattara N Marak said that the organization will go ahead with their demonstration if the demand is not fulfill.
