Shillong, Sept 17: The State BJP organised 72nd birthday of Prime Minister NarendraModi in brief ting manner for the State. Morning 10:00 o’clock State President Shri Ernest Mawrie inaugurated and exhibition on Modi life at State Central Library, U SosoTham Auditorium Shillong.
The State President also flagged off a mobile van exhibiting Modi’s life through of the city which went round through out the city. Later along with the State team &MahilaMorcha the State President Shri Ernest Mawrie, Shri A.L Hek MLA also present at cake cutting ceremony at State Party Office celebrating Prime Ministers birthday.
The BJYM North Shillong unit organised blood donation at Robert Hospital 35 youths donated blood. In the entire State the BJYM organised more blood donations camps. The State Mahila Morcha also adopted five anganwadi centres for next six months.
The National Secretary MahilaMorchaSmtAienlaJamir was also present on the occasion. The MahilaMorcha team also visited the Anganwadis& celebrated Prime Minister Birthday with children’s.
Tree plantation programme was organised at jhalupara where State President Shri Ernest Mawrie& Cabinet Minister ShriSanborShullai was present. Modi’s Birthday was celebrated in all the BJP mandals all over the State.
