Shillong, April 03: Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) led by the President, Dr.D.D.Lapang, MLA, expressed profound grief and sorrow at the sudden demise of Smt Sushila Devi Joshi, the mother of Dr.C.P.Joshi, Hon’ble General Secretary, All India Congress Committee (AICC).
In the condolence meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr.D.D.Lapang today, the members also expressed condolences and sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal repose to the departed soul.
The members also prayed to the Almighty to give strength and solace to the bereaved family in this hour of darkness, so that they may bear this irreparable loss. It was also resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the bereaved family.
