Shillong, June 19: The three regional parties the UDP, HSPDP and KHNAM jointly sign by their leaders sent the withdrawal letter to the Chief Executive Members of the KHADC Mr P N Syiem they have withdraw from the ruling collation from the People Democratic Forum (PDF).
Smti Telina Thangkhiew Parliamentary Party leader of the HSPDP in the KHADC she said that they have submitted the letter of withdrawal from the PDF today and the present Executive Committee led by My Syiem has become a minority where they will not be able to passed the budget for the financial year 2017-2018.
The Parliamentary Party leader of the UDP Mr Teinwell Dkhar said that today the three regional party in the KHADC, UDP, KHNAM and the HSPDP has jointly submitted their letter of withdrawal from the ruling collation from the PDF under the leadership of Mr PN Syiem as CEM, they have also sent their letter to the Chairman of the Council Mr LG Nongsiej.
The KHADC has a total numbers of elected MDC 29 ngut, the Congress has 6 MDCs, The UDP has 4 MDCs, the HSPDP has 3 MDCs and KHNAM 1 combine all they are 14 in numbers in the house of 29.
The ruling collation PDF under the leadership of the present CEM Mr PN Syiem their still claiming to have 15 in numbers including the Chairman of the Council Mr LG Nongsiej. Interestingly the five day budget session of the KHADC begin tomorrow.
